It irks oneself by noticing later how easy his/herself let their guards down to a slightest hint of compassion, from STRANGERS! Because yeah, so much for acting all tough & reserved but when someone approaches you in what that seems like 'the flick' you just lose it all. A mere crack and the walls just crumble & all stories just come out pouring. Massive disclosure outtanowhere like an avalanche, or like when the dam just broke.
