selamat hari hero

buat semua hero2 dalam dunia ni.
buat semua bapa2 yang baik dan bertanggungjawab yg telah wujud since men walk the earth.

MHI kat TV3 pagi ni edisi Hari Bapa. Abby Fana ada mention secara relatif tentang Hari Bapa & Hari Ibu, in terms of suasana..dan apa yang mengisi suasana.

Ada banyak lagu-lagu pasal ibu..jarang2 dengar pasal lagu bapa. bukanlah isu yang besar sangat pun kalau nak dibandingkan dengan pressing issues yang lain sekarang, tapi take a sec to ponder about it..

Lagu bawah ni baru pagi ni first time dengar dalam MHI punya short video hari bapa.
Band Seventeen-Ayah

Satu lagi, zahirkanlah sayang kita dekat ayah kita.

semua bawa nama ayah.

aktivasi

aktif
aktif secara ideologi atau secara penglibatan?
penglibatan secara digital atau fizikal?
digital secara seni-tampak atau idealogi?
penglibatan secara fizikal?
takdak pulak.

kata aktif.

tread me softly~

"Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."

-Cloths of Heaven by W.B Yeats-

Again and again, for one reason or another, this fabulous piece of poetry keeps meandering back to me. It sobers me and makes me pensive like few other words in the English language. Definitely one of the most striking lines of poetry I have read...

And everytime, everywhere,

Our parents , our youngs , our loved ones, our subordinates, our roots, our ancestors, all the people that have faith in and depend on us..

have spread their dreams under our feet,

So we must tread softly, because we tread on their dreams..

di A.M

Nabi SAW bersabda :

Kadang-kadang memikirkan dosanya,
Kadang-kadang memikirkan apa kebaikan yang nak dibuat,
Kadang-kadang memikirkan nak menolong kawan,
Kadang-kadang dia terasa kebesaran Tuhan,

Atau dia meniatkan, dia diam itu,
Tidak mahu bercakap yang bukan-bukan,
Kadang-kadang dia diam itu,
kalau dia bercakap,
Takut dia melakukan kesalahan,
Seperti dia mengumpat atau,
Kalau dia bercakap, takut-takut menyakiti hati orang,

Ataupun mengingatkan ilmu pengetahuan,
Ataupun pengetahuan yang dilupakan datang semula ingatan,

Itulah yang dikatakan oleh pepatah Melayu,
"Diam-diam ubi berisi"

Diam Biar Bertempat :)
Patikan biar ada isi nya tu!

for all graduates-to-be out there, you must read this..

Last week, TED’s curator, Chris Anderson, addressed the 2011 graduating class of architects from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. His advice to them?

VERY good and lifting piece of wisdom.

I quote some of them:

"

The architect Moshe Safdie ended his TED talk a few years with this poem.

He who seeks truth shall find beauty. He who seeks beauty shall find vanity.
He who seeks order, shall find gratification. He who seeks gratification, shall be disappointed.
He who considers himself the servant of his fellow beings shall find the joy of self-expression. He who seeks self-expression, shall fall into the pit of arrogance.
Arrogance is incompatible with nature. Through nature, the nature of the universe and the nature of man, we shall seek truth.
If we seek truth, we shall find beauty.

So I guess my advice would be... Don't pursue your passion directly. At least not yet. Instead... pursue the things that will empower you. Pursue knowledge. Be relentlessly curious. Listen, learn. You're leaving Harvard this week, but your learning cannot ever, ever be allowed to stop. "

we should all read this and realize, and prepare ourselves out of our own bubbles..
