it's also quite frightening.


increased purchasing power liberates something somewhere inside oneself, flipping a switch
that negates previously effective reasoning mechanism. "Relax it is fine." Just like that.

This shift in decision making when spending money reflects two things at least:
1) The invidual's lack of financial management skills
2) Perceived evaluation is just another volatile concept, like perceived time. "Age is just a number" be "Price is just an assigned number."

Post-purchase dilemma or withdrawal syndrome that sets in after making an unusual spending; a relapse period where oneself dwells a bit more to the thought of making a bad decision, a moment of reaffirmations, rationalizing, reasoning etc. This moment might as well be filled with self praise, when a well justified, good deal is made.

But money with is swooning prowess, make these aftertought fade.

Actually I'm just concerned with my tendency of spending money these time around. that's all. kahkah

Uber

I've tried Uber *finalleh* used it for 6 times so far in the span of 3 weeks.
And what a delightful experience it was.

What I like with all this whole Uber-riding ordeals is the human interaction part. People who do Uber comes from all kind of background & it's refreshing to have new discovery with every ride. Even from my fairly little Uber-riding trail, I've had the previllege to meet a bunch of wonderful people.
To converse about open subjects, in Bahasa or English, and explore life stories & ideas whilst getting to your destination is definitely a trip I enjoy.

But in the same time the tech industry is buzzing about making unmanned, self driving cars & integrate them in Uber & other ride-sharing ecosystem. One one hand- as a programmer myself  I  have vested interest in the advancement of Deep Learning & Neural Network platform that made these kind of technology possible, and I would like to see the frontiers of science expand. But on the other hand I'm a bit dejected, to see the human interaction part taken away from the equation...no driver, only passenger & the intelligent car ferrying people..idk, sounds bland.

Var

Each one of us is a unique collection of experiences & ideas that sums up to the perceived character living & interacting, moulding one's observable being throughout this life.

So dont be so surprised or suspicious to see how we differ from each other, it's not remotely unpeculiar for individuals to view & feel common things very differently. Rather than despise it, let's appreciate the diversity. Or at least, accept openly and reserve from any judgements until it's empathically understood.

baru-baru ni Apple umumkan yang mereka develop satu teknologi yang guna beam infra red untuk buat cubaan merakam video tak berhasil. Pancaram infra red ni tak visible pada pandangan mata kasar, tapi sensor elektronik dalam kamera yang merakam gambar berdekatan akan terkesan.Plannya, mereka nak guna teknologi ni letak depan stage time concert atau pementasan untuk counter trend pengunjung yang terlampau taksub dengan phone, time persembahan berlangsung pun semua tala phone merakam beramai2 tanpa live in the moment. So benda ni menggagalkan rakaman/ambik gambar menghala ke stage je.
Seniman & pemuzik tak suka trend masakini yang nak merakam jee. Selain dari kepentingan komersial & eksklusiviti, piracy etc... ia membuatkan masyarakat terlepas menghargai sesuatu iaitu :bakat yang ekspresi seni.

Benedict Cumberbatch ketika pementasan teater Hamlet tak lama dulu, terpaksa break character ditengah-tengah membawa watak dan menegur penonton yang merakam persembahan guna phone dalam auditorium tu. Dia tak boleh menyampaikan watak dalam naskhah berat karya William Shakespeare tu dengan fokus kerana terganggu dengan cahaya merah kamera & nyalaan skrin phone dalam kalangan audiens.

Pendek kata, karyawan terasa kesal & kecewa bila mereka cuba tonjolkan kualiti serta bakat seni yang begitu bermakna bagi mereka, tapi crowd miss melihat benda yang sama, terlepas menghargainya. Sebaliknya mereka fokus kepada perkara lain, yang bukan mereka bersungguh-sungguh sampaikan.


Memang palat rasanya, bila kita menerima perhatian sekeliling bukan kerana sebab yang kita inginkan. Rasa keliru, kesal, tak bahagia, Lain yang kita cuba kongsikan, lain yang diulas & dilihat oleh pihak lain. Tambah-tambah lagi perkara yang lebih diperhatikan tu bersifat superficial, pada permukaan saja..berbanding content berkualiti yang kita dengan jujur  zahirkan.

Superhero sehari

Not all hero wear capes. Macam tu lah kata pujangga alaf baru, kahkah.

Bukan semua adiwira memakai sayap, ada baju suit topeng segala. Maksudnya semua orang boleh jadi hero dalam kapasiti tersendiri..dalam masyarakat kebanyakan, ada ramai hero..penguatkuasa keadilan, cikgu-cikgu, ibubapa dll..

Aku rasa aku dah tau nak jadi hero macam mana yang nak jadi. Hero yang buat orang rasa happy dihari jadi. Kawan-kawan berdekatan, kalau tau tu birthday dia aku akan celebrate belanja makan suasana seistimewa yang terdaya. Empowering dari segi tu.

Sebab aku tahu la macam mana rasa kalau birthday miserable, pasal tu rasanya Tuhan tunjuk supaya aku protect orang lain.
